What amazes me about the UK Government, is that papers/investigations/reports etc that the previous Government did, are not available to the new Government.
WHY! They are carried out with public money, so new Governments should be able to decide to release previous stuff if they see fit.

Oh hell no. The power to convict can not rest on a single judge, not only can that mean if he's pissed, or biased, he could convict on a whim.
A Judge is not a "King", no one should have that power - that's why we have Juries, so things are fair.

The minimum wage is still FAR too low, well below a "living" wage. The Tax payer is having to pay benefits to those earning too little on fulltime jobs - subsidising companies, even those making billions in profits.
