Any of us who have children in our lives with severe mental illness recognize how things can change quickly. I knew a woman who was shot by her mentally ill son I am reminded, on any number of occasions, it could be me.
Sadly, this picture says a lot. Daylight between two people with their arms around one another for a picture. And that isn't exactly a smile on Nick's face.
