Turns out that sometimes, after a long week, you will randomly sign on to social media and discover that a bunch of kind people have written some very lovely things about your work. Thank you to all, it means more than you know

It’s #FeatureFriday and I’m running late! But I’m here now and our album this week is the excellent “EP1” by @monoeject.bsky.social
A very well-produced, cinematic electronic, sort of Goth, somewhat industrial collection of 6 tracks with a dreamlike feeling and hypnotic vocals.
I like it!

My favorite track from "EP1" by @monoeject.bsky.social is "The Lack".

This song has a dense atmosphere, interesting lyrics and is on the longer side for this album.
Something to sink your proverbial teeth in.

I don’t understand what the value proposition is with our current federal leadership.

We give: crashed economy, fewer federal services, 10s of thousands of fewer federal jobs, destroyed foreign policy, and more…

We get: ???

What am I missing? Why are we being asked to bite the bullet here?

This fun game where we get a daily report of the things that the hundred-billionaire decided we don’t deserve to keep while he vacuums up all the money for himself. What a time to be alive

Been writing weird music lately. Surprising myself. Some of it good. Some of it probably just for me.

Get asked a fair amount about our genre. It’s a weird question because idk the answer. We don’t have one in mind as we write. That said, genre can be a useful shorthand when introducing your work to new audiences. But being too aware of genre while writing can cause you to play to the gallery

A dark day. One of many to come, unfortunately. Take care of yourself and step back when you need to, but do not check out. We are accountable to history and we must act when we can. We must be here to witness what they do, not what they say. Difficult responsibilities we all share.

It's crazy that we have billions of people on the Internet, and so many social apps with hundreds of millions of users, but you still can reach more ppl & still sell far more mixtapes out your car in a Wal-Mart parking lot, AND make more money by doing that, than by posting your music on any app.

Been catching up on this guy. Seems to have something useful to say.

The system we’ve built doesn’t match the people we say we want to be

The impending sense of doom these days is palpable. Undoubtedly, we will look back on these days and curse ourselves for not doing more to prepare while we could. And yet I’m paralyzed.

And all around me, life goes on with hardly an acknowledgement of the change that’s coming

Working on new music. Both M/E and other stuff

We had an equipment failure about a year ago and lost an embarrassing amount of work in one blow, and it really took some wind out of our sails for a minute.

But we’ve dusted ourselves off. Interesting to start hearing the difference a year makes
