Me regalaron una caja de Gouaches Acrílicos y tuve que estrenarla pasando esta ilustración a tradicional. Prometo que algún día saldré de Silksong (creo).

Me regalaron una caja de Gouaches Acrílicos y tuve que estrenarla pasando esta ilustración a tradicional. Prometo que algún día saldré de Silksong (creo).

The good things of social media or webcomics site (and also downside) is you can read your readers... Some readers of mine, looked at the art and the *details* others just read the comic quicker... All are fine! But I'm evil and I tend to do foreshadowing on the background of my comic panels 😈

also comparatively, ppl barely engage with work at galleries. the level of arts education for the public is intentionally lowered! ppl who love comics are more likely to re-read them, re-visit panels they like and like BUY the book to own. reading comics is actually a huge win for engaging with art

in 2026 i would love to see cartoonists collectively let go of the resentment that "comics take years to make and moments to read." 🙏 the contrast in time creating vs time experiencing is true of all art. why complain that someone read your work? Chill out and enjoy meeting a reader on the page.
