Apparently when I was very little, smothering broccoli (and a lot of other veg) was the only way my parents could get me to eat it. It’s no wonder I grew up to have a chocolate addiction! (Chocolate is its own food group, and therefore has to be eaten every day for a balanced diet!)

Why did it take me nearly 48 years to discover how tasty Brown Rice is? Unless it was Egg Fried Rice or swimming in a sauce I hated rice, until I started cooking Brown Rice for health reasons. Now it’s become my go too alternative to Potatoes, to the extent I have it more than I have potatoes.

Just finished watching #StargateSG1 season 6, I have to say it wasn’t the best season of the show to date but still more enjoyable than most TV. Will start season 7 soon, but time for a pause to watch some #Dragons:RacetotheEdge and #Dragons:TheNineRealms picking up where I left off last month.

Just ordered a refillable deodorant from saltoftheearthnatural.com. Been seeing good reviews about them, so thought I’d give them a try. Being refillable buying from them should mean less plastic going into landfill, if it’s as good as the reviews indicate so I actually buy the refills. #WorthATry

The more I read about the political situation in America, the more I want an alternative to the tech giants based in America to be available. Are the computers, mobile phones and most of the internet we use going to stay safe to use? Will we have to take a functional back step to safely go forward?

Started watching #LegoStarWars Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past this evening. 2 episodes in and I’ve been really enjoying it so far. Very silly and fun as you would expect from Lego Star Wars. Will probably finish it off tomorrow, hopefully it sticks the landing.

The problem with left-leaning media is they're intrinsically more strict with their propaganda to only using verifiable sources so it's really hard to poke holes in their ideology and arguments in comparison to a lot of low quality rightwing content.
That makes attacking their points with fact checkers not very effective unless the fact checkers use misinformation tactics as well.
In essence people on the right have to work harder and more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and studies frustratingly arent usually on our side.
