I can remember seeing bits and pieces of the live action #Space1999 and #UFO but never really watched them. My main memory of live action was seeing the film #JourneytotheFarSideoftheSun.

I never saw why the consensus was that it was a terrible film. Its “big crime” seemed to be that it was a female led cast, which in reality was only an issue for the small minded. Ok, it wasn’t as good as the original, but that’s a high bar to reach which none of the other films managed either!
