I read a book like this one by Lady Gregory when she collected supernatural and ghost stories from the West of Ireland (where my Grandparents were from). Way too freaky & real. When I visited there, you could feel the heavy "mana" in the ground, sky and sea. This looks good, though. Maybe . . .
#FairyTaleTuesday Delving into a haunting realm, 'Uncanny Ireland' unearths twenty short tales from the past two centuries, ranging from accounts of folklore and rare reimagined myths to classic ghost stories & modern chillers. Featuring tales from Sheridan Le Fanu, W. B. Yeats and many more.

The writing god himself breaks it down.
We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.

Amen x3. It takes soul to truly create art. Anyone who waste their time reading fiction from a machine kinda gets what they deserve --- over time they morph to become more like a machine than a human.
As with AI art, these bros fail to understand that creative writing isn’t a slop bucket that needs refilling by any means possible. The reason creative writing is beloved is because it gives us insight into the thoughts and imaginations of fellow humans, not homogenized and plagiarized slurry

This reminds me of how over 50 years ago "Small is Beautiful" came out, was talked about, made the pop culture and intellectual circles with REAL solutions, but dam few did anything. What we go through is almost always old news.

I know the dialogue on the cover of this "Punisher" comic book is not funny, but it is oddly funny. The eternal theme of 90% of action films.

As an action film lover and screenwriter these are one of the many stereotypes of countering violence that I am passionate about changing.
