Senate has a sixty vote rule for passing a budget. A rule is not law. A simple majority of 51 votes can change a rule. GOP has 53 votes in Senate. They could vote any time to change the rule and pass a budget. Not fake news.

Epstein's story is Trump's kryptonite. Nixon resigned a day after Watergate tapes became public, 1973. Three of his closest GOP friends in US Senate went and told him he would get three votes in Senate to retain his office. Barry Goldwater and Paul Laxalt said they weren't among them.
