I get dunking on this, but: she’s been the highest profile supporter of C Murder, who’s desperate for a review of a non-unanimous jury verdict that’s keeping him locked up. Maybe passing the bar helps her advocate for him.

Bernie Cook at Georgetown has done valuable scholarship on Katrina and steered attention and resources to New Orleans since shortly after the flood. Glad he’s still at it.
Today I participated in a wonderful symposium at my university reflecting on New Orleans culture and community 20 years after Katrina. It was great to hear from some creative, brilliant, & committed New Orleanians who are dedicated to their city.
