Good example of how an acronym can dehumanize consequences and mask what’s going on. Syntactically, “Diversity slayer,” “equity slayer,” or “inclusion slayer” sounds weird. They aren’t “slaying” these things; they’re promoting and supporting their opposites: segregation, unfairness, and exclusion.

I'm still working with these two families in Gaza. The "ceasefire" has barely made an improvement and both families are living in dire situations that lack warmth and shelter. Winter is approaching, which is the rainy season--not suitable for living in tents.

I think the music and sounds here are what throw me off the most?
I went to a library around closing time and 15 minutes before, they started playing, I don't know how to describe it other than "get the fuck out" music. Started soft and got louder as it got nearer to closing. Freaking incredible.
