Train #2 10yo boy reading the Metro newspaper from cover to cover.

Maybe the future is not so bad as I thought it would be

Travelled on 2 trains this evening. Waiting for train #1went to Costa. 2 young teenage boys buying hit chocolate, 2nd boy buys first one a sirop wafer and then tell the barista to keep the change. Obviously one of his first times buying something by himself and he chose generosity.
Rincewind dreams of boredom! If only he says....
And I've been thinking that people in UK have been going a bit too far with ropes twisted into spiders webs on their houses! Since the beginning of October!
We always took the decent stuff to charity shops so other families could find enjoyment in December like we did...
Both of my children were born in December (wouldn't recommend it!) so between birthdays and Xmas there was a almost complete shift in toys. That was one of our jobs for half term, so sort through things they had to make room on shelves.
I just put my phone in my pocket and thought wow this is how men have functioned for year!!!

Now I just need my jeans pockets to be the same size as mens and we will be one step closer to full equality!!!
Had this thought this morning how having everything in the phone is a closer step to things being equalled between men and women.

Bear with me. OH asked if I was taking my purse and I replied no because I'll have to take a bag and I don't want to.
Snag tights are more expensive but omg they are comfortable. They fit wonderfully round your tummy and no sagging and very resilient. Well worth the investment and lots of resilence. Lots of skin tones available as well.

You're welcome!

I discovered this track during lockdown and now listen to it repeatedly. Been in my top 5 spotify chart every year since. Love it and don't even know why!!
I use Microsoft ToDo for this. I set regular jobs up or set dates for things, & in the morning there is a todo list. I love the ding sound it gives when you complete something! Only issue I have is if you dont complete a job it should be automatically put on tomorrow list imo but I have to add it.
Had both my girls home over the summer, which has been bliss. Taking DD2 back for yr2 today (they are packing the car as I type!) and DD1 goes off for her Masters next weekend. Sob! The dogs and I will be bereft. Last year was very hard when suddenly the house was empty. Circle of life...

I bought trousers and jeans from BloomChic recently and was super excited to find proper pockets that i can fit a phone in! I kept telling everyone about them. OH just stared at me not having a clue!
3. Spending the day with DD1 & DD2 driving 360 miles there and back to see their grandad. Lots of debate and fun arguing about who has the best taste in music (me obvs!) and 'Would you rather?' questions. DD2's favourite conversation starters! Werewolf or ghost at one point! I went ghost...
2. Grateful for the NHS in what they do for us. The thought of what's happened the last few days and prospect of having to pay for it it absolutely horrifying!

#3goodthings lovely day
1. Great morning of teaching my new class, almost cried in maths, they all just got on with it without shouting, getting out of seats and giving up like last year!
2. Went to yoga class for the first time in 20 years, felt wonderful. Why did I wait so long?
3. Lovely meal 🌽🍗🍚
I loved Mum, such an underrated programme. The ending is great and you will enjoy seeing what happens.
