(Voice) Actor. Star Trek lover. DC fanboy. Marillion got their hooks in me. Film feeds my soul. Great food is everything.
First at TIFF, now in theatres and on CBCGem, this Lilith Fair doc brought so many great memories back for me.
It puts the Fair into historical context of the music industry at the time, and is so revealing and fun!
Much love to you, Sarah! ❤️

They say that over time, people start to look like their pets.

But I don’t believe it.

Thanks @funcityeditions.bsky.social 4 this crazy return 2 my childhood with these 3 TV movies I sorta remember. Death Ride was a bit risqué but they were all super fun 2 watch. And the star power! Jennifer Jason-Leigh, Ann Jillian, Paul Winfield, Mare Winningham
LOVE this release!

Another sleep study, this time using a CPAP machine—so massively uncomfortable! I had to switch twice before getting any decent sleep. But even the last one put too much pressure on my nose and upper lip. The technician said that I may have to consider using a full face mask version.

On this day in 1989, Kate Bush released 'The Sensual World.' Lush, poetic, and fearless, it hit #2 on the U.K. Albums Chart and earned Platinum status. Few albums have ever sounded more like a dream turned into music.

On this day in 1994, "Pulp Fiction" hit the big screen.
Royale with cheese. Dancing with Mia. The briefcase glow.
A film so cool it changed cinema forever.

I really thought that at some point, life would just get a little easier somehow.

As usual, Steve Hackett puts on a great show! Thanks, Steve, for all the great music!

Been dying to see BRMC for a couple decades now…and yesterday was finally the day! 20th anniversary of their album, Howl, a huge change from their usual hard rockin’ style. It was bluesy indie folk rock with a touch of country and gospel. Just a fantastically musical and soul-stirring album.

Equating rape to getting action? Disgusting.
Worse still are Brock’s own actions.

Nothing like checking in and stretching out in the hotel room knowing that the production company is footing the bill.

On the other hand, I’m back in London, Ontario so it’s kind of a wash.

I don’t take much interest in politics, but it’s very jarring to see a fellow Canadian, let alone a neighbour, wearing a MAGA cap. Two separate occasions, I had to fight the urge to point to her hat, smile wide, and excitedly say, “Pedophile!”

Surprised my wife with tix to her fave band of all time, The B-52s! Total bucket-list show for her, and I’ve never seen her so happy, singing so loud, cheering & clapping like a maniac! They played all her faves and it was just the greatest night. Thanks to the band for putting on a great show! ❤️

After months of mild paranoia at seeing all the coyotes in our neighbourhood—as well as having 1 follow my dog & me toward our apartment building—I decided to buy a little piece of mind. This coyote spray was $13 on Amazon and gets great reviews. I haven’t used it and hopefully will never have to.
