CHUCK SCHUMER: [on phone] I don’t know who you are or what you want, but I will find you and I will help you kill my daughter

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Fuck Chuck Shumer- spineless twat, pushover and disgusting hypocrite. We don't want you here.

I’m encouraged by these town halls but I also remember very clearly how this happened in 2017 as well. Instead of responding to the complaints, they stopped doing them.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

We are both exhausted, coming back after yet another evacuation, at least he isn't energetic. He did keep me up all night last night 😭

@lafd.bsky.social thank you guys so much for your speedy response to the Sepulveda fire. It was not the best feeling to evacuate TWICE in such a short period .

Just a reminder to everyone that the app that a lot of people have been using to keep track of the fires is a non-profit. @watchduty.bsky.social has brought me a lot of piece of mind. Donations really help them as well so that they can continue to provide the services they do!

The best part about being home though? Being from him for a week was rough and even though I visited him at boarding it wasn't the same. DJ is my partner in crime and I had to make the best decision for both of us.

There is a weird type of feeling going back to your home after being evacuated. There is an amazing amount of grief and guilt alongside relief. My heart bleeds for my city, so many who have lost everything. I will continue to be here for anyone who needs to talk & provide what support I can.
