It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face.

I forgot to mention, I assume someone eventually realized that having a journalist inside for hours observing them was less than ideal so they taped bags up over every window in our cell so we couldn’t see out. At least not as well anyway, there are always gaps.
Yes, arresting a journalist for doing their job is a big flashing red light. But I don't want people to forget the whole reason everyone is out there.
This is what I saw inside:
Four holding rooms. Two smaller rooms were being used for holding protesters. Two larger rooms held ICE/CBP captives.
