Small talk isn't to get to know a person. It's just a greeting to affirm you're buddies in the universe. I am motivated by wanting the other person to know I am friendly, so I have gotten pretty decent at small tall when I used to hate it.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

motomi is on top of frustrated shiki tucked into the crook of his neck, holding one of his hands. motomi licks inside of shikis ear, freaking shiki out. Shiki pushed motomis face away from him immediately only for motomi to catch one of shikis fingers in his mouth. shiki trys to get out a "STOP!" before motomi starts to pull off shikis glove with his teeth. Shiki tries to shake off motomi, incidentally shaking off his glove exposing some scars with shiki yelling a broken "Get!" "Off!" "Me!"
