I'm SO glad we actually DID GET VEILGUARD.
IF this IS the final BioWare game I'll ever get to play, then let it be a game brimming with HOPE, with the BELIEF in GOODNESS and the COURAGE to fight for a BETTER WORLD.
Veilguard is IMO BioWare's most SIGNIFICANT game.
It has no equals in this.

Noot Noot Update: Only to more eye drop treatments left to go. The redness has receded but she now has a lil' crusty residue in the inner corner of each eye in the morning that I, as per vet's instruction, gently wipe off during pre treatment cleaning around her eyes.
She is SO OVER IT, lol.

Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.
I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

To expand upon that: Publishers RARELY sell exclusive IPs. Even "dead" ones. The last Gabriel Knight game shipped in 1999. It went from Sierra to Vivendi to Activision to Microsoft...the lead writer desperately wanted to buy it back...Microsoft refused.
