Chalk another one up today, AI still can't do basic tasks I could assign a first year Uni student.
I think it says a tremendous amount about how TIME decided to put 8 people extolling the supposed virtues of AI as their "person" of the year in an image that is a clear usurpation of the original.

It's incredible how streamers are still so dismissive of the Chinese game market. I get that it was the cool thing to dunk on Chinese video games for a decade, but it just reeks of casual racism now.
There's some really great studios putting out wild stuff these days.

Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.
I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.
