Got a bunch of great ideas on books. And @vermontgmg.bsky.social is a fabulous writer.
I hope if you're shopping today, you stop by a local indie bookstore. Here's my list of my favorite 25 books from this past year, some old, some new, fiction, history, and current events — something for almost anyone on your list (and, of course, yourself!): www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/my-favorit...

Truth
Trump says the drug kingpin he just pardoned “has been, according to many people that I greatly respect, treated very harshly and unfairly.”

In other words, Trump has no idea who this guy is. It seems possible, though, that someone’s beak got dampened.

Trump is pardoning yet another major drug trafficker. I've lost count of the number he has already pardoned, including some of the most largest and most dangerous drug traffickers in American history. This time around, it is a foreign dictator. Trump loves dictators.
