Didn't have anything on my Bio Description when I was on Twitter, but I guess I may as well have one now. Studied music, dabbled in history, love film. He/Him, in case the kilt wasn't a giveaway.

They're insulted by the appropriation of their toadying culture.

That's what we're all referencing, yes.

I mean...I love Toby, but that's mostly down to Richard Schiff.

Everyone's politics in West Wing are terrible.

A recent improvement to sunblock for vampires?

Wouldn't be surprised. They'll want to induct the "right sort" of Hispanic into the racial bribe that is Whiteness.

Have you ever noticed that old clothes online sometimes look better than old clothes in your closet?

Why is that? 🧵
A faded sashiko shirt from Ship John.

Most of the 30s-40s crew were also incompetent clowns. I take no comfort in the ineptitude of this current set; ineptitude can be as deadly as efficiency.

Yep. The international community thought once might have been a fluke. Voting in a second presidency means we are fundamentally untrustworthy partners. Anyone with sense will go elsewhere.

Sorry if I'm talking in a stilted way...I don't know how active BlueSky's auto-mod features are.

The numbers they've talked about are incomprehensible—larger than the Shoah. Even if you could manage to deport that many, there *would be* atrocities along the way. The deaths in the 40s did not begin in the camps, they began in the long path to the camps, through active and passive atrocity.

When I say "deport," it's important to note that no deportation has ever been accomplished at anything close to the number of millions they are promising. If they do continue down this path, the destination of the "deported" will be a new final solution.
musicalhistorian.bsky.social
This was always clear to anyone who could count. The number of people they've been claiming they'll deport cannot be filled by only deporting criminals.

It cannot be filled by only deporting immigrants.

To make their campaign promises come through, they will need to deport whole races.

Trumpnomics: Get tariff money from US consumers on Chinese goods. Our farmers can’t sell their products because the Chinese refuse to pay our tariffs. China buys from farmers in Argentina instead. We send Argentina $20 billion. Then we pay our farmers to throw their crops away.

Good morning, and rememver, no matter how bad a day you may have, you’re not Samuel Pepys who, overnight, had shit in the chimney. Twice.

From the diary of Samuel Pepys today in 1665
So I to bed, and in the night was mightily troubled with a looseness (I suppose from some fresh damp linen that I put on this night), and feeling for a chamber-pott, there was none, I having called the mayde up out of her bed, she had forgot I suppose to put one there; so I was forced in this strange house to rise and shit in the chimney twice; and so to bed and was very well again.

Pushing AI into everything right now makes sense because we’re in the thick of an anti-expertise era, and everything it “makes” relies on malicious dilettantes believing that whatever it spits out is good enough for whatever industry or consumer base to which it’s parasitically affixing itself.
