Walking along the ocean side in Placencia, Belize, I noticed a Red-Tailed Hawk gazing down at me. I followed its pursuit, tracking whatever it was hunting, until I finally got my chance—capturing it as it landed atop a telephone pole! #MYearthLENS

Brown pelicans nest in colonies, often among mangrove forests, where they lay 2–4 eggs and incubate them for around 30 days. With an average lifespan of 25–30 years, they remain a steady presence along the coast, gliding effortlessly before their signature plunge. #MYearthLENS

This past summer along a hiking trail in Northern Vermont - I saw a Goldenrod Crab spider. Unlike other spiders, this one doesn’t weave webs to catch its prey. Instead, it cleverly perches on flowers, waiting for pollinators to come close before swiftly launching its attack. #MYearthLENS
