Love the new look of @natefeed.bsky.social 's Teaching English magazine, which arrived today. More pages, too, and I like the realism of that quotation on the cover: 'Not by being perfect but by showing up.'

This is positive after a slowdown in the reflection of our children’s realities last Year. These reports are so vital and have driven change over time. Well done to all @theclpe.bsky.social

I love this because it recognises that our pedagogies and teaching practices are also important. If you teach a diverse range of books but have never thought about how your institution teachers those it makes pupils of all backgrounds feel, then you’ve not decolonised anything #edusky

This is a good round up. Anyone who tries to say ‘teachers work so hard we can’t reform the system’ isn’t speaking for me. I’ve been working within but railing against the system for most of my career!
