This afternoon I went to the store for olive oil. I stared at the oils, compared prices, made my selection, all silently. Paid and left and then stopped to sit on a bench before walking home. I opened FB and there is an ad for the very bottle I bought. Never seen that ad before. A little scary.

This makes me think of all those hours in law school agonizing on how to differentiate contradictory rulings when the obvious answer was that in case A, the judge wanted the plaintiff to win while in case B, the judge wanted the defendant to win. Never the right answer on a quiz; often right IRL.
