Starship flights from the Kennedy Space Center got a major step closer, as the Ship QD Arm was lifted into place and installed on the tower at Launch Complex 39A.

Starship S39.1 test tank has returned to Massey's overnight for another round of testing, after almost 4 weeks away following its trip home to the production site for the holidays.

The Starlink Group 6-97 mission will launch 29 Starlink v2 Mini satellites to Low Earth Orbit on a Southeast trajectory from the Cape. The latest Space Launch Delta 45 launch weather forecast see a 15% chance for violating weather constraints.

Nearly eight minutes later, after completing its mission, the booster returned to planet Earth, landing at Vandenberg’s Landing Zone 4.

Following successful deployments, this will complete the 587th overall mission for a Falcon 9 rocket and was SpaceX’s fourth mission of 2026.

SpaceX has launched the Twilight mission at 5:44am PST (13:44 UTC) aboard Falcon 9 booster B1097-5 from SLC-4E at the Vandenberg SFB in California, sending the Pandora satellite and 39 other rideshares south toward a dawn/dusk sun-synchronous orbit.

Earlier today, ULA's Rocketship sailed out of Port Canaveral with some rocket hardware on board on its way to the West Coast to support the first Vulcan launch from the Vandenberg Space Force Base later this year.
