So, I will say I am pretty upset about this & I don't think we're wrong. I am interested to see how others feel.
So, Nate and I don't go to church.
We did for the majority of our lives, but made a conscience decision to stop attending (Nate before me).
When we had Jackson, we agreed we'd always have an open conversation about religion, and support whatever path he wanted to take (keep in mind, he's 8yo).

We're not here to stampede anyone's faith or religious beliefs.
What we're questioning is whether or not it's appropriate for a youth pastor to tell 8 year olds about their past drug addictions during Sunday school.

Jackson stays with grandma and grandpa every Saturday night and goes to a non-denominational church every Sunday morning.
It's complicated because my parents are very emotional about "eternity" and having their whole family in salvation in heaven.
