It sure would be nice if CA had a governor who was too busy tackling our serious problems, to have the time for a side gig as a talk show host.

Watching my country die has become too much to bear. I don’t know what more to say, except: fuck you if you voted for this, you fucking traitorous monster.

I usually meticulously mix paint colors to get what I want, but the 3 lightest colors in these clouds are straight cadmium red. They were all I used, today. Clean up was a breeze.

So I'd like some lights for my studio that are bright like the 48" LED tube lights I currently have, but with color rendering index of 90 or higher (current ones are 83). I got some cri 95+ spot light bulbs that made colors look really great, but there was too much glare.

Citizens of a free country don't risk summary execution for not immediately complying with commands from secret police. We are not what we so loudly claimed to be, anymore. There is no going back. We'll either be better, or we'll be worse. Which side are you on?

Just sent to my rep & senators. If you are an American, and you care about having a constitutional republic, you might want to do the same. senate.gov house.gov

I don’t like rules, never have. But I do like freedom. And I understand that without rules, only the strongest would be free. So I understand the need for some rules.

I was just looking through my website and realized that I somehow made 27 paintings in 2006. I am unlikely to even approach that number, 20 years later. I made 29 from 2020 - 2024. Twenty seven in one single year? Madness. Some of them were even good (22 are in private collections).

2025 was not a kind or gentle year, but I did make some stuff I’m proud of… and I got to collaborate on that one with my good friend Luis Sanchez. Art makes the rest tolerable. Here’s to a year of more art and less of the rest!

That time I walked by Glenn Danzig's house on my way to the post office, when he was in the front yard, picking up sticks after a wind storm. I nodded while walking by. He kind of nodded back, as I recall.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Weird that Americans are so enamored of cheering for underdogs, yet so adept at making so many more of them. Must be a supply and demand thing.

Which punk rock album is the perfect top-notch record from start to finish?

I'm starting:

L.A.M.F. – Heartbreakers

One of the albums that opened the door to punk rock for me
