Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.
More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

AOC: This is how our healthcare system got deregulated. People talking about Americans should have the personal choice of getting totally fleeced by insurance companies.

This is so fckg not okay. People shouldn’t be getting ripped out of their cars and kidnapped. She’s a nurse obviously not a criminal. Women could be getting actually kidnapped, this should not be happening in America.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

Jacob Frey: "If we are now at the point where the federal govt is deploying agents on legal American citizens with a goal of uprooting people who have formed lives here, have families here, started businesses here, definitively made Minneapolis a better place, everybody should be speaking out."

A new video captures masked ICE agents in unmarked vehicles swarming the mother of Karoline Leavitt’s nephew before hauling her away. There’s no way this was random.

💥 Imagine being 18, a US citizen, asleep in a broken truck, and 8 masked ICE agents point rifles at you. Handcuffed, injured, no rights read. This is Manny Castillo’s reality.

🚨 CNBC on latest jobs numbers: "A big miss on ADP payrolls. The private payroll company saying private payrolls shed 32,000 workers in Nov. That's the 4th negative number in past 6 months. The estimate was for +40,000, so the street was off ... this may be coming from being hammered by the tariffs"

Hmm. Ghislaine Maxwell is filing a habeas petition challenging her incarceration PRO SE (no lawyers). I guess even David Markus has his limits? Incidentally, she's worried that the release of the Epstein files would be devastating to her case.

🚨The Oversight Committee has received files related to Jeffrey Epstein from JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank & the U.S. Virgin Islands. Oversight Dems intend to release files to the public in the days ahead.

Mr. President, release the files, NOW.

This is brilliant!
Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

This timing makes a lot more sense now, doesn’t it?

Adm. Alvin Holsey resigned in October as commander of U.S. Southern Command right after flagging concerns about those U.S. military strikes on “suspected” drug boats in the Caribbean.

He served for 37 years.

Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state as governor.
