The US gov. says it made a deal with the War Devil so she wouldn't invade them in exchange for some lifeforce & I asked what happens if the war is forever & they said she eats another state & I said it sounds like they're feeding their citizens to the war & then the statue of liberty started crying.

from time to time i still encounter this kinda reductive old deviantart attitude that anime/manga styles are flat/unrealistic and that Ghibli mostly is the only grounded, naturalistic anime style. all styles have, obey and break different rules. none of these are unstructured or lawless

such a long running franchise you'd think they'd run out of ideas, but the plot of MR. GINPACHI'S ZANY CLASS #7 being 'the gang goes on a sketchy treasure hunt, find an unexploded bomb' is something else for sure
