April 14, 1993: Chicago Bulls fan Don Calhoun attends his first Bulls game in three years and throws in a 75-foot shot that wins him $1,000,000.

Per Sports Illustrated, Calhoun was selected to shoot because a Bulls employee felt his “suede hiking boots wouldn’t scuff the court."
November 25, 1983: Philadelphia's Julius Erving casually palms the loose ball and gets an assist to Franklin Edwards.

Dr. J had 22 PTS/8 REB and Moses Malone had 24 PTS/13 REB in the 76ers' 115-101 win at Houston. The Rockets' Ralph Sampson scored a team-high 20 PTS (10-14 FG).

November 17, 1992: Larry Johnson (21 PTS), Kendall Gill (18 PTS), and Alonzo Mourning (15 PTS) put on a slam dunk exhibition against the Mavericks in Charlotte.

Muggsy Bogues dished out nine AST for the Hornets, who defeated Dallas, 134-111.

Heat legend. I once met him at the Cheesecake Factory in the Grove. He was wearing canary yellow pants and his waist was taller than my head.
November 17, 1994: Detroit's Terry Mills hits a 20-footer over Dikembe Mutombo to beat the Nuggets at the buzzer in Denver, 94-92.

Mills had 20 PTS/3 STL and Joe Dumars scored 21 PTS for the Pistons. Bryant Stith scored 22 PTS and Mutombo had 14 PTS/20 REB/5 BLK for Denver.

November 25, 2001: "The Raptors had fun alley-ooping to (Vince Carter)" in their 107-88 win over the 76ers.

Carter scored 30 PTS and Dell Curry added 18 PTS off the bench for Toronto. Aaron McKie had 23 PTS and Derrick Coleman scored 21 PTS for the Sixers.

November 25, 1988: Atlanta’s Dominique Wilkins with the double-pump slam in transition.

Wilkins scored 26 PTS but the Hawks lost at Dallas, 100-95. Derek Harper scored a game-high 28 PTS for the Mavericks.

November 16, 1996: Cleveland's Bob Sura dunks on Detroit's Stacey Augmon.

Sura finished with 17 PTS off the bench, but the Cavaliers lost to the Pistons, 102-98. Grant Hill scored 27 PTS for Detroit (8-1). Terrell Brandon had 25 PTS for the Cavs (6-3).

November 15, 1994: Houston's Hakeem Olajuwon throws an over-the-shoulder lead pass to Kenny Smith during a 105-99 win over Sacramento.

Olajuwon had 28 PTS/14 REB/6 BLK as the defending champion Rockets improved to 7-0. Mitch Richmond scored 31 PTS for the Kings.

November 21, 1971: Pat Riley of the Los Angeles Lakers drives and scores past Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Riley would be named head coach of Abdul-Jabbar and the Lakers on November 20, 1981—almost exactly 10 years later to the day.

November 24, 1993: Latrell Sprewell scored 27 PTS (10-14 FG) and rookie Chris Webber added 24 PTS/16 REB in the Warriors' 108-102 comeback win over the Heat.

For Miami, Steve Smith scored 32 PTS, Glen Rice scored 27 PTS and Rony Seikaly had 14 PTS/18 REB.

Anderson scored a game-high 21 PTS (8-11 FG) in 21 minutes during the Spurs' 109-84 win. Horace Grant scored 18 PTS to lead the Bulls.

Jordan had 30 PTS/8 AST/6 REB/3 STL but the Bulls fell to the Trail Blazers, 141-131. Jim Paxson scored 31 PTS (14-18 FG) and Kiki Vandeweghe scored 30 PTS (12-16 FG) for the Blazers.

Davis scored 10 PTS off the bench in the Hornets’ 89-73 victory. Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 15 PTS/21 REB for the Grizzlies.

November 24, 1987: Seattle’s Xavier McDaniel chokes Wes Matthews of the Lakers, Michael Cooper defends Matthews, and both benches clear in the third quarter.

McDaniel, who scored 34 PTS, was given a technical foul but remained in the game. The Sonics defeated the Lakers, 103-85.

Drexler scored 18 PTS and seven other Portland players also scored in double figures in a 143-119 win over the Warriors. Terry Porter had 22 PTS as the Blazers improved to 10-0.

November 22, 1983: Portland scores on five layups/dunks in the last 0:51 after Denver coach Doug Moe tells his team to let the Blazers break their single-game scoring record of 150 PTS.

Moe was fined $5K and suspended 2 games for "ordering (the Nuggets) to quit playing defense."
