Today is #ReproShabbat hosted by @lilithmagazine.bsky.social and @ncjw.bsky.social - I was a co-champion of their uterus challah competition last year and decided to give it another go this year to reclaim the crown. Stiff competition this year though!!

Today we mourn the loss of Rev. Jesse Jackson, a giant of the civil rights movement. A friend of NCJW, he met with us during our trip honoring the 60th anniversary of the Selma bridge crossing. His passion for humanity & barrier-breaking legacy will inspire generations. May his memory be a blessing.

Around Valentine's Day we hear lots of talk about love, but we can't properly love others before we love ourselves.

This Shabbat we hope you take inspiration from the queen herself, Whitney Houston.

Shabbat Shalom and happy Repro Shabbat 💗

Ever wondered what Judaism says about abortion? We’ve got you covered. 💜

We observe Repro Shabbat on Parshat Mishpatim — the Torah portion that shapes Judaism’s teachings on reproductive health, rights, & justice.

And don't forget: abortion access is a Jewish necessity 👏 👏 👏

I’ve been known to bake a uterus pie in my time, so when I saw this contest from @ncjw.bsky.social and @lilithmagazine.bsky.social to bake a uterus challah to champion women’s reproductive rights, I just knew I had to join in. Happy #ReproShabbat lovelies!
