Holiday shopping: if you’re in a position to buy gifts, but you don’t want to support the capitalists who are funding fascism, remember you can always spend your money with crafters, & creators. There are many people struggling who would be happy to create something special for your loved ones.

Breast reduction recovery update: We’re now home. I have a ton of energy. My Dr cleared me to sleep on my side (YES!!!!). My clothes are fitting better. I’m finally starting to lose the post surgery water/swelling weight. Grocery shopping with help done yesterday, bills paid and mail sorted today 🧵

Icymi: A week before Thanksgiving, the Trump administration deleted the Federal Report on Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women

The ‘Not One More’ report recorded indigenous deaths and disappearances, and provided resources and policy suggestions to address the crisis

Never staying at this extended stay hotel again! We’ve been here a week. Cops here 3 times, possibly coming again tonight. I’ve heard people fighting in the parking lot 2 other days, then again today (all separate incidents). Tonight, more loud cursing out there. Last night a dog barked for an hour

I’ve never had small boobs before… so question about bras (yes I’m a 40something cis woman asking about bras😆). Do I clasp my bra in the front and spin the band to the back like I’ve done with big boobs, or do I try to figure out how to reach behind my back to clasp it there? Advice? Anyone?

My husband took the teens out for antiquing adventures and gave me strict orders to have me time and not answer the phone 🫠 People have this uncanny sense of when I’m about to relax and decide that’s the exact moment to call to vent about things or get my advice 🤷‍♀️

Just found out there are some new postcard campaigns open on @activateamerica.bsky.social. That should give me something productive to do for the next month while recovering from surgery. www.activateamerica.vote/postcards #Resist

Recovery day 7: still a bit sore. Made it out for some bubble tea. Still annoyed I can’t really use my arms for anything. Feeling a bit like a T-Rex.

They will not stop til they tell you that their whole goal is fascism and folks will still be okay with it
In 1938, a New York Times reporter warned:

“When and if fascism comes to America it will not be labeled ‘made in Germany’; it will not be marked with a swastika; it will not even be called fascism; it will be called, of course, ‘Americanism’.”

Just finished reading When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill. Once my energy bumps up a bit, I might need to do some more learning about McCarthyism

Took my last oxycodone. My pain hasn’t been too bad. The itching is annoying. Hoping the OTC drugs are all I’ll need to manage the rest of my recovery pain. Anyone else have experience with pain after reduction surgery?

Just went for a walk at the lake. I didn’t go too far, but my circulation and lungs needed it. Back at the hotel with my feet up for a bit.

Told my husband my boobs were swollen today because they are filling out the surgical bra. He hears that my boobs are growing back 😳 Nooooooo!

Breast reduction recovery journey: Today we switch hotels, we’ve checked out of one, now we need to figure out what to do until we can check into the next. I’m super sleepy, maybe I’ll nap with an occasional lap around a store for movement.

Teens are painting pottery with their aunt and uncle. I managed to get out of the cabin to go coat shopping with my husband now that I can find coats that will fit my new boobs. Grabbing some pepper Jax and heading back home to take my next pain med dose and maybe nap

My extremely talented teen was accepted to ANOTHER art school with highest honor merit scholarship awarded 🤩 I’m so freaking proud of her, but still trying to figure out how to pay for the rest of the balance. 😵‍💫

Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business.

The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay.

It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders.

Textbook corporate greed.
