I grew up a metalhead and then (via noise and free jazz) got into ambient and experimental music. I've always felt that a circle was closing again. Black metal and doom are the two metal subgenres where pure sound and texture are primary carrying elements just as in ambient.

There are many things I like about Grime Stone Records. I like their silly yet gnarly music. I like their anti-Nazi stance. I like their free hot muscle babes. But they also deserve credit for having the most professional merch operation of any label of any size I've used.

I am also slowly starting to work on new material for an EP for next year which will be a bit different and will contain a cover version of an 80s pop hit.
