What a great story! One suggestion is to think about upgrading to an e-bike. It takes away all the less pleasant bits (hills, wind) and despite what some might think, it is still a great way to get daily exercise.

This video is seriously getting some Ottawa Councillors' noses out of joint.

In addition to Hubley, I don’t think Luloff, Tierney or Plante attended the Council meeting in person. No prizes for guessing how all 4 of them voted.

IMPORTANT: Let Doug Ford know that Sutcliffe is not speaking for the people of Ottawa, that we don't want a trickle of provincial money to create a flood of new municipal debt.

Please SEND A 2-LINE EMAIL to [email protected] saying we have higher priorities for any provincial money than Lansdowne

In your post, there is a map of two land parcels near the QC Hospital. Is that where BCH would put in about 700 new affordable units?

@timtierney.ca you are opposed to an east end bridge. How is this not NIMBYism?

Lansdowne 2.1 may go to council in less than two months. Currently 15 misguided councillors support it. There is still time to avert a huge mistake. This is not just a Glebe issue, this financial debacle could affect all of Ottawa if approved.

Anyone know anyone who could speak about the Zohran experience, at a People's Summit in Ottawa, Canada on 1 November?

Either a campaign insider, or a journalist/observer. If so, please DM.

Any project that has been sitting on the sidelines for this long is probably no longer required. I’m sure the City of Ottawa could find better ways to spend $28.5 million.

And Councillor Curry, that’s not how DCs work. If true, this would have been built years ago.

This is a remarkably important question. The City has known for a few years now that one vendor believes soft tracks are the cause of LRT derailments.

What tracks did Ottawa use in the subsequent phase 2 of light rail? Did the City adjust to this possible root cause, or just ignore the concern?
