Wouldn't it be cool if in response to Kpop Demon Hunters being the most successful animated movie of the year/all time/whatever companies paid artists to do cool original projects and more shows and movies and more stability in animation and design. Hahahhahahahahahhaha man. Oh well!

This will be the first year I ever go home with unsold Sharkpups. Last year I pulled crowds at my booth and sold out by lunch at Sunday, so this is surprising and REALLY hitting just how hard the year is. I was really relying on this con. Definitely need to re-pivot if I want to come back next year

Unfortunately this was my worst FanExpo yet 😔 I was hoping the funds for this would help with rent and further product, but I’ve made less than half of my projections based on the last couple of years. Will have to figure things out another way!

Headsup for Canadian folks, esp those with pending kickstarters - US is refusing packages that are DDU.

Chitchats is already suspending some of its options for US mailing.

Basically this move just flatlines Canadian indie folks in the KS space.

The Animation Industry is in such bad shape, you guys. The amount of raw talent and power it is losing because it's not providing a sustainable living is a tragedy that future generations will study with grief.
