The car dealership guy emailed me about possibly trading in my Fusion and getting a better rate, though since it's a Ford dealership, options for vehicles that aren't enormous trucks and SUVs are limited even by American standards.

I finished Tim Blake Nelson's Superhero: A Novel, which is a timely fictional tragedy about the filming of a highly anticipated tentpole superhero movie with a star haunted by his past issues with drugs. You can really tell the author is drawing on his experiences with Hollywood.

Ages ago I started working on a sort of successor to Channel A called Fighting Fighters Coliseum, where you put words on cards together to make ridiculous anime/fighting game special moves, and like a decade later I think I randomly figured out how to make it actually work!

A lot of Pizzagate types are crowing about being vindicated, except (1) the issue is bipartisan in the worst way, and (2) it turned out to be powerful people being awful, not Satanists/Illuminati.

I spent around 90 minutes on the road running errands and visiting a friend today, and it felt like there were people in my blind spots the entire time. Not a good day for me to be driving apparently. Also it's kinda bonkers that blind spots in cars are just something we live with.

I have an online friend who works at a clinic, and apparently they're trying to do an AI chatbot for handling prescriptions, and it's going about as well as you'd expect, except it's screwing up and lying about filling orders for medications people need.
