Every time I launch this game, I laugh too hard to want to actually play it. Nothing it does in game can possibly live up to the first impression.

Vibe coding is working as expected: it'll kill the open-source, secure, and ideologically maintained alternatives to make sure you have to pay the oligarchs to do anything at all, and they can control what you're allowed to make.

🚨 New: We built a visual tracker of the warehouses ICE is targeting across the US.

Working off an idea from @actualkatherine.bsky.social, we’ve mapped active searches, canceled deals, and linked state property records.

What a loss. Reading about “vocational awe” early in my MLIS program meant so much, and I know plenty of booksellers and game designers who found something necessary in there as well. www.inthelibrarywiththeleadpipe.org/2018/vocatio...

My co-author Dr. Megan Condis and I gathered nearly 3,000 print ads from the console wars era to analyze whether the popular narrative that "Sega was for rad teens and Nintendo was for babies" actually holds up.

The results paint a slightly more nuanced picture.

Read about it on @aftermath.site!

people on here will occasionally say you should tag an author when you say nice things about their book but I don't think they have people like me in mind who are not clever and can only say things like "The book was good. I liked it"

That said, books are good. I like them! People should read them

74% of Democrats support abolishing ICE, with 53% *strongly* supporting it, according to YouGov polling from last month.

Weak calls for "reform" are coming from *elected* Democrats like Chuck, not the average Democratic voter.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

Hi there. I just published my 1st new #ttrpg in a while. It's a small, zine-sized thing (trifold pamphlet) called "The Snarl" - a "dungeon explorer" game loosely inspired by Roadside Picnic & etc.

It's 3 bucks. Check it out and help me eat.
