We're besides ourselves with joy, but - the work isn't over yet. With 12 days to go, we're now aiming for our first stretch goal, which will see OFF creator Mortis Ghost join us to work on the project!

Our deepest gratitude goes to you all for your support, your encouragements and your trust 💜

Yeah, that's the real problem right? People are quick to believe any video someone shows them, especially if it confirms what they already believed. Someone who didn't ask who made a video, what the source is, what the context is, etc before believing it already had an information diet of misinfo

I'm honestly amazed the ability to turn off specific peoples' reshares hasn't happened yet. On twitter that launched *very* soon after retweets did and I always thought of it as a basic feature that made that site usable at all

I make it a point to always begin the alt-text on pictures of Adonis with "orange cat". so next time you're having a bad day, do yourself a favor and type this into search

It honestly amazes me people are so fast to believe any random video someone shows them without any idea where it’s from or who made it

I truly think the Games Industry would be in a much better place, creatively, if everyone had more exposure to DOS Shareware games.
Denture Man title screen. It's horrifying.

I’m assuming the dodgy cards are way cheaper, but I wonder if the annual Black Friday sale on the Krikzz ones puts them anywhere near that price range…

I legitimately found out the drive had gone when I tried to play Manhattan Requiem one day. I wanted to go to multimedia Manhattan!

Yeah there's something, like, *solid* to them. They're devices for a utility.

"What's a LaserActive that doesn't play laserdiscs" *Annoying* is what it is. These things are hellish to repair. The guy in town who'd be best at getting that drive spinning again has already made me promise never to bring it into his sight again.

CD-i: working perfectly. LaserActive: plays card and CD games, but the drive won't spin up laserdiscs right now. :(

Walked past my little museum shelf of weird multimedia systems

Three days, two of which are the weekend, is already incredibly tight though!

Did npm really just provide its first email notice of a breaking change three days before they take place, in the Friday of a holiday weekend?

(There was a blog post September 29 but judging from the total lack of discussion I don’t think anyone saw it.)

netizen.club/~wildweasel/... - A golf game better than the Legend itself?! Reviewers from 1987 seemed to think so, in a manner of speaking; observations at hand in this month's Golfshrine Acquisitions Update.

Actually speaking of the "kids these days" stuff I don't really have much patience for handwringing over zoomer “brainrot” humour because I grew up with "We Drink Ritalin" (actual title!) and other animutations on albinoblacksheep. We weren't an erudite generation
