Speaking of Titanium Court, I can now point out that AP Thomson just casually dropped a self-portrait via a screenshot of Titanium Court in an interview a year ago, when it was still unannounced, with no explanation at all of what it was or what it was doing there canvasrebel.com/meet-ap-thom...

Love that Terry’s have cheaped out so much most of the “chocolate” oranges can’t even legally claim to be chocolate anymore

I love that this game is always emphasizing how this character speaks heavily English-accented Japanese. I guess because she's a golden retriever, and those are from Scotland. Someone greeted her with ごきげん in hiragana, and she replies with ゴキゲン in katakana. Very cute way of depicting an accent.

That’s right, I broke the bank at the Boxing Day sales (spent $1 on a DS stylus)

My Nintendogs DS Lite didn’t come with the matching stylus and it turns out the metallic pink ones are hard to find? So I’m glad I happened to stumble into one.

This also answers the other thing I'd always wondered about. The Saturn version looks absolutely awful, with weirdly stretched-out sprites, but the English internet claimed it was only a Saturn game. Finding the PC version explains it; the art was drawn for high-res PC and not all converted properly

Biggest surprise: I found a complete set of text and image resources in English! Seems the British team wrote the game in English and the publisher translated.

Tried running the game with them, but the final game isn't set up for English - double-wide text and no proper linebreaks. Also crashy.

New blog post! I wrote about Father Christmas, the weirdly barebones Japan-exclusive CD-ROM game based on the British storybook. It's... not very good, so I didn't have much to say, but I *did* find some interesting stuff in here anyway.

One of my favourite Wingroove features is that it measures how good your PC is in terms of how many times faster it is than the developer's PC. My Windows 98 VM is 131 times faster, apparently.

The episode title is the replacement that aired in the US, but the description opens with the CECOT segment, as does the video itself.
