Daen is my (second) favorite, and I am concocting plots for him despite his unfortunate passing. Qhora is my least favorite. Her history with me as a character is pretty fraught and she's been through so many iterations she's kinda meaningless now.

I. Must. Fish. Alone. If other people show up and stand far enough away, it's okay, but if people get close, I just leave. If it's one of those windows that everyone's after, I'll pre-emptively server hop in an effort to at least find a clear spot.
#wolqotd for fishers: what are the superstitions/rituals you have for things? Only fish in certain spots? Catch certain fish to surface slap? An outfit? Let's hear it.

Relief. When it works. Darien has an abundance of aether that he never asked for and has no intention of taking advantage of, but he's learned enough to use some, so it's like releasing a pressure valve for him. Tension dissipates, nerves calm. Despite that, he mostly just... doesn't.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Darien's lonely. He lost the two people he was leaning on very hard months ago now, and it's been hurting. He needs someone to lean on, so he either pushes the people around him, or he goes to find new people, and he's actually not sure which is best, so... a lot of thinks.

Most of Darien's "mundane" fears spin off of big ones. He's wary of pretty much anything consumable that he didn't see being made, because trust issues.
He also has a sort of claustrophobia? Like a small space with an easy exit is fine, but lock any door on him from the outside and he will freak.
