1. Jared Kushner's trip to Moscow yesterday was not just unethical; it was illegal.

You cannot accept tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and simultaneously conduct high-level diplomacy for the federal government.

It says it right in the Constitution.
Kushner’s Moscow mission wasn’t just corrupt. It was unconstitutional.
Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, has been traveling the world to participate in high-stakes foreign policy negotiations on behalf of the president.

What does it say about this country that that the kind of open, rank bigotry Trump administration officials regularly express towards black immigrants apparently has no social cost because of the number of Americans who quietly agree or don't care.

Over and over, the NYT amplifies Trump's damaging and cruel propaganda. This was egregious, set in large type and plastered at the top of the website. I fixed it for them, but they should NOT be printing this, ahem, garbage.

The only way to stop a bad lawyer is with a good lawyer. This is an excellent organization that matches lawyers with non-profits so it covers a lot of bases: environmental, election, social justice... I'm supporting them on this #GivingTuesday.

Great essay by @sorayachemaly.bsky.social. Reminds me of when I was a Co-EP on a popular TV show and was asked to rewrite another writer's script over the weekend. I turned it in to the EP on Sunday night and the next morning the EP stopped me. "Great work," he said. "But I'm gonna tell Dave... 1/

Daniel Woodrell died of pancreatic cancer at 72--the same cause and age of my own mother's death. This cancer is detected late & works swiftly. My mom got 100 days from diagnosis to death. Recently, researchers have made advancements in treatment, but the GOP is putting a stop to that. 1/

Watch this until the very end. Repulsive. As I've said before:

Yesterday was terrible. Today was worse. And tomorrow will be worse still.
Reporter: Governor Walz called for the release of your MRI results

Trump: They were perfect like my phone call where I got impeached.

Reporter: Can you tell us what they were looking at?

Trump: I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it.

PA's Dave McCormick pissed away a great opportunity. Coming into the Senate from a purple state, he could've acted like a sane person & carved out a path to run for Prez in '28 as MAGA implodes. Instead he voted w/Trump 100%, including being a West Pt grad who soiled himself by voting for Hegseth
Dave McCormick helps give Republicans 51 votes to confirm Pete Hegseth
Dave McCormick's vote helped Hegseth overcome three GOP defections for be confirmed as secretary of defense. Democrat John Fetterman voted no.

I think we may be nearing the Streisand Effect with Hegseth going after Mark Kelly and the other senators who made the video telling troops to refuse ILLEGAL orders. Please share again because the message is even more important now.

Under Trump, yesterday was terrible and today is worse. And tomorrow, there will be more lawlessness, more grift, more innocent people disappeared, more crypto bros rewarded, more violence against women, more hate toward the LGBTQ community, more Russian aggression.
The past decade has seen grave threats and unmistakable decline. But the past few days and weeks reveal that we have entered in a new and more perilous chapter here in the U.S. It must be a call to a new kind of action. My latest. open.substack.com/pub/davidrot...

When someone's incapable of hiding their joy at getting away with a deception, it's called "Duper’s delight." Watch how Epstein reacts when asked if 12-year old girls were sent to him as a birthday gift. Also this is the person who said that Trump had "not one decent cell in his body.”
