I hear you! I do wonder to what extent the earliest, uh, "influencers" poisoned the well on all this.

Wouldn't blame any dev for being wary of accidentally amplifying the voice of someone who, down the line, turns out to secretly be a sentient string of slurs piloting a trench coat.

HOT TAKE: Sometimes, I feel like the people saying this mean why isn't anyone with lots of power covering my game. When smaller folks ARE covering indie games and you're not uplifting them. You just want others to lift you up without giving back to the community.

Pretty disappointing to see high-profile game devs being annoyingly indifferent about using genAI to write code.

"It's for simple stuff where I only care about the output" okay but I'm not sure you should be so comfortable going fishing with a bundle of dynamite to catch one (1) fish.
