I'm Nate!

I'm not really "making" any "content" these days, but I used to write about game music for various sites, and for ~7 years I had a podcast called GO BACK AND PLAY, in which some friends & I took a whirlwind tour through the history of videogames!

CGI feels like a paradox to me because "good" CGI so often equals "invisible" CGI, or at least not noticeable, and if it's not noticeable then I never wonder about the craft and human effort involved. As opposed to, say, a good matte painting backdrop. 😘👌

#25 - 9 Years of Shadows

Plucked this out of my backlog because the art looked lovely, and found a perfectly cromulent Metroidvania. Borrows (steals) some stylistic cues from the GBA Castlevanias and Metroid Fusion. Some great bosses! You could do a lot worse.
