Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

On #BBCQT - Fiona Bruce said that the audience and public didn't want to press Reform UK on their dodgy links to Russia.

I disagree.

RT if you agree it's in the public interest for Reform to explain about their links to Russian money and bribery!

Was trapping with Ian Machin and @loz9898.bsky.social up at North Landing, Flamborough on Sunday when we caught what looks like Flamborough’s 2nd and Yorks’ 7th L-album wainscot - apols for crap pic, didn’t appreciate it was so rare up north! #moths

Refreshing to see Green Party’s Zac Polanski telling it how it is in #BBCquestiontime proposing a wealth tax and slamming Israeli genocide in #gaza - and for once a caring audience in #Shrewsbury with British values of compassion and common sense challenging Reforms right wing division and hate

As a show of sincere commitment to Trump’s so called “Gaza Peace Deal,” Israel is continuing to bomb civilians through out the night.

You *really* should be by now but you don’t *actually* have to call them liars or racists, if it offends your commitment to now almost entirely redundant BBC principles of ‘objectivity’ & ‘ balance’. You just have to ask them again & again & again to justify their words & explain their exact meaning
mrjamesob.bsky.social
I’ve been saying this for ten years now but possibly not often enough: Ask Them What They Think The Words They’re Using Mean. And then ask them to name the ‘problematic’ people. We had ‘sovereignty’, ‘laws’ & ‘unelected bureaucrats’. The US now has ‘Antifa’, the ‘radical left’ & ‘insurrection’. Ask!

Labour tearing up wildlife laws and appointing pro growth Defra SoS, greener No.10 advisors leaving - no wonder that Labour haemorrhaging votes to the Green Party - and when 16 YOs can vote the green vote will surge even more. People want to preserve wildlife and green spaces not build on them.

Woahhhhhh.

A poll that shows the Greens surging to 15% - and just 2 points behind the Labour party.

We were up birding at Flamborough in East Yorks over the w/e and caught one up there - I was told it was 2nd for Flamborough (after one in 2023) and 7th for Yorks (been 5 at Spurn). Back home in Wiltshire I get 2-3 every year. Probably gradually spready north?
niallmachin1.bsky.social
Excellent news. But any birds?

A very select band of 7 moths in the trap this morning, but did include first black rustic (darth Vader) for the year, 3 white points and a beaded chestnut #ukmoths

If Chris Mason could manage to take a little break from wiping away the tears of Zia Yusuf & Nigel Farage at some point, maybe he could take the time to also ask them about:

- Tax returns
- Clacton House
- Russian bribery

Both Labour and Conservatives need to divest themselves of Friends of Israel funding - and govern in our country’s interest and not a genocidal rogue foreign state (needless to say Reform appears to be funded by Russia and acting in Putin’s interest).

The Labour Chancellor declares herself an eternal friend of a state committing a live-streamed genocide.

We are ruled by moral disgraces who are criminally liable for aiding and abetting one of the worst crimes of our age.

Some good news.

London is meeting legal limits for toxic NO2 pollution for the first time – almost 200 years earlier than predicted – following the Mayor’s "world leading air pollution policies," City Hall announces.

The Ultra Low Emissions Zone - and similar policies - really do work.

After Steven Miller's speech there is no longer any question the GOP is a Nazi-Party, he voiced Joseph Goebbles rhetorics like it is Nuremberg 1938 applauded by the Republican Elite and their Congress.

So, Sunday Times runs with latest poll showing Farage winning if there was an election now. But makes NO mention of Reform’s collusion with Russia. And this is how democracy gets beaten to death in the dark. Voters are not being told the truth. Reform is given the stage but is NEVER held to account.

Trump is ordering the military to use “full force” against an American city, while the Supreme Court declares him the Sun King and Congress hides under a pile of coats.

I managed to see the one on Tresco, Scillies think it was '94. In a hedge and field with a little bunting. Would love to see another. Heading up to Flamborough 1st w/e in Oct - unbelievably in 40 odd years of birding and twitching never been there before! Crap. Looking forward to a rite good time...
