The Dem party establishment has also been outright hostile to nearly every young candidate that has built their own grassroots support structure: AOC et al, Mamdani, etc.

There are probably comics on the list for whom the Riyadh gig was life-changing money, and I get that. For them, it's not unlike doing a dumb, over-paid corporate gig.

But for those like Burr, who are set, I expect a little more leadership on behalf of the profession.

I feel the same way as a Gotham fan. I really would like to dislike Spirit, but they just have too many fun players. Their games always look like a party, and like you said, they have ownership that is generally doing things right for the team and league.
