A set of six photographs from the production of series 4 recently came up on eBay, and I'm glad to say I was able to get them.
These are quite scratched at the edges, which would take weeks to fix, but are in otherwise great condition and colour corrected well. Enjoy!

Early RTR is funky man
- GraFar 8100 had a chassis which kills itself if you look at it wrong (now has a new one made from Triang bits)
- GraFar 9400 has a can motor held down by one of the terminals
- Trix 5600 is some weird scale in between OO and HO, and doesn’t fit in fully with either

I'm really glad that we finally have a confirmed name and original livery for the Austerity Engine. And I'm also relieved that his name isn't, Warrington. I was never really keen on that name. Walter is a much better name, and one I can get behind. #thomas80th #rws
