There is no part of drafting I dread more than that first basic spell/grammar check on a 90K first draft is complete. My most common mistake: typing "me" instead of "my" giving my drafts a real piratey flair.

Self indulgent post: A friend told me she’d started How to Fail at Flirting. It’s been a long time since I’d thought about that book, so I listened to a few chapters of the audiobook on my drive home tonight. WHO WROTE THIS?? It’s a really great feeling to read your own work and think it’s good 😊
