Tbh I suspect LoV could depict Kylo with a whole harem, denouncing Rey all the while, and within five minutes, Reylos would be writing headcanons and fics where Rey's just out of frame domming the fuck out of him lol. Our delusion is strong and fueled by spite

“That guy is pure evil,” Finn mutters, watching the leaked footage of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren slashing a console to pieces. On the screen, crimson plasma cuts through sparking wires and durasteel panels; Rey can almost smell the burning of rubber insulation tubes, so unlike the sharp ozone scent of lightsabers clashing in a snow-covered forest.

Other images come to mind, too: the icy blue glow of a different lightsaber raised over a sleeping boy. Dark eyes in a pale face, kept locked away from the gentle touch of sunlight. The slightest tremble of a full lower lip before his mouth forms an agonized whisper: I’m being torn apart.

The brush of fingertips across the impossible length of a galaxy. You’re not alone.

Neither are you.

Out loud, she says, “Or he’s just a man who thinks he doesn’t have any better choices.”

Finn scowls. “There’s always a better choice than galactic dictatorship.”
