the bummer is you gotta re-up every two weeks so it gets expensive. sometimes we haven’t been able to source them but it still seems to help, overall.

yeah from what I can tell it’s worked for us, although we had a particularly virulent infestation that we actually had to move away from since the landlord wouldn’t fix it. they were even eating cotton, rayon, etc. and stuff that was out in the open. seems to have gotten better tho.

lately I think a lot about this New American Movement poster from the seventies. as true now as it was then. (NAM is a precursor of the DSA)

hand-lettered poster. Title reads: "If you're unemployed it's not because there isn't any work." Text reads: "Just look around: a housing shortage, crime, pollution: we need better schools and parks. Whatever our needs, they all require work. And as long as we have unsatisfied needs, there's work to be done. So ask yourself, what kind of world has work but no jobs. It's a world where work is not related to satisfying our needs. A world where work is only related to satisfying the profit needs of business. This country was not built by the huge corporations or government bureaucracies. It was built by people who work. And, it is working people who should control the work to be done.
