I'm adding chronic pain to this list because I found it baffling that people were confused by my turning to opiates when I was in such severe daily pain that my throat was raw from screaming

Catholic schools are used as legal conversion therapy because you have to wear a gendered uniform cut your hair a certain way etc etc and you are expelled if you don’t. Do you understand this. do you understand how many kids at each school are there for that reason

In 2018, my mum got stage 1 breast cancer. It completely changed the trajectory of her health and life. She needed surgery + radiotherapy, years of tamoxifen (a hideous drug), and was banned from HRT for ever after. She now has osteoporosis as a direct result, both hips have been replaced
