I just want to cuddle with my sickly cat while I play games, but he's not hanging out in one of the gaming spots T.T
He also seems utterly unaware that he isn't well. He's doing all the regular cat things he usually does.

Never have I been so devastated by the loss of something I just found out about.

We have an appointment with said specialist at the specific clinic later this month, but we'll call out regular vet to check if they've got dentistry availabilities earlier.

We're back home. We have a couple of meds to give twice daily with food T.T
No proper treatment yet as we need the dentistry specialist to assess the condition.

Also since this happened at like 11:30 I didn't have lunch so that's great.

Thankfully he's still eating and drinking and still energetic.

They will probably be able to take him in for dentistry on Tuesday (long weekend T.T) but until then we have to do what we can to increase his comfort. He doesn't have a fever at this point so I suppose it's not infected (yet), but we might give him anti-inflamatory and painkillers just in case.

They don't do dentistry during the weekend so they can't get clear imaging to look at what's going on with the tooth. They took my boi to the back to try and have a better look.

Also not to be dramatic about it, but I still think we should nationalise vetenary care for pets at the same level as human health care. At the very least we should regulate vetenary care in such a way that the cost of care isn't prohibitive.

As the days pass, the worry of rent and food remains what weighs on me the most — just to keep my children safe and stable.😓

Our eldest seems to have an broken tooth T.T not sure how it happened as he seemed completely fine yesterday night when I gave him his heart meds. Were driving to the emergency vet clinic. This keeps happening at the start of long weekends!

Or at least I'm sure I saw replies telling her or was ai before that reply of hers. I don't see them anymore...

There are people trying to argue that "maybe she hasn't seen the replies telling her it's ai" but that reply from her is newer than a few of the "this is AI" replies so I'm gonna go with she knows and doesn't care about lying.

Honestly, been talking with my colleagues about how they're doing and like so many are no sleeping well or straight up suffering insomnia and I cannot stop thinking that none of us should be required to take our asses into the office needlessly.
