It’s been a while since I’ve specifically targeted a zone 2 run without any speed or interval training thrown into the mix. This felt amazing. I forgot how much discipline it takes to stay in this zone and not start cranking up the speed. I’ll definitely be mixing these into my routine more often.

Defense obviously lost the game in that final drive, but they also made a fourth down stop, got the ball back into Brock’s hands, offense ate virtually no time off the clock, and then defense had to try to win the game. This L is in on offense to me.

I’ve been taking my runs slow since the race on 11/3. It’s been really nice to just get out and cruise without set pace targets. Right now I’m just keeping my aerobic base and miles up while taking in the scenery. I’ll resume speed and interval training once the new year rolls around.
